NORTH TEXAS MINUTEMEN

MISSION

The NTM was formed on 28 July 2020 as an all-volunteer organization dedicated to making our society better through good works, positive civic engagement, and teamwork.

Strategic Missions of the NTM:

(1) Train and equip for Search & Rescue (SAR) operations, and liasion with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies to provide those services on a volunteer basis;

(2) Train and equip for Disaster Relief (DR) operations, and liaison with local, state and federal agencies to provide those services on a volunteer basis;

​

(3) Promote positive civic engagement through community service programs;

​

(4) Work with local, state and federal agencies to provide defensive security to local communities during civil unrest or national emergency;  

​

(5) Develop an inclusive volunteer organization that allows any citizen to contribute to the betterment of our society.

(6) Safeguard the rights of all American citizens as enumerated in the U.S. Constitution.

Membership Eligibility:  The NTM is an inclusive organization that welcomes ANY American, without discrimination, willing to be a positive change agent for the challenges facing our society.

​

There are no age or physical fitness requirements, as there will be many roles to fill, such as administrative, logistical, transportation, medical, communication and field work.

​

Prohibitions:

The NTM will not be a proxy for any political affiliation, and for this reason, members are prohibited from displaying any political party or other divisive symbols while participating in any NTM meeting, training, exercise, or deployment.  The only symbols authorized for display are:

1. The American flag,

2. The Texas flag, and

3. The NTM logo.

​

Members who violate this prohibition will be asked to remove the violating symbol.  If they choose not to do so, their membership will be revoked.

The NTM reserves the right to refuse membership or revoke membership to anyone at any time for any reason.
